The National Examination Council (NECO) has now put the application form for its 2022 Nov/Dec SSCE External (for candidates not in the School system, i.e. Private Candidates) for sale.

Take the Below Note Serious and Read Carefully.
Candidates should carefully follow the guidelines on the scratch card before registration.
Candidates should study the Regulations and Syllabuses carefully before registration.
Candidates should be aware that their uploaded image/photograph during the registration will be printed on their certificates.
Cellular phones, Tablets or any other electronic communication devices are not allowed in the examination hall, Eating, Smoking and Other related Acts are highly prohibited in the examination hall…
Candidates should dress in mufti not a Uniform like the Internal Candidates examination and no one will be allowed entry into the examination hall with arms.
Multiple registerations are not allowed. Candidates who register more than once will have their entire results withheld, ban or cancelled.
Candidates who lose or damage their scratch cards before registration will have to buy another card.
Please note that No candidate shall be allowed into an examination hall once an examination starts already.
Face mask wearing in the examination hall is a must.
Physical distancing in the examination hall will be strictly enforced
All candidates should bring into the examination hall their own hand sanitizer.
NECO GCE Examination Centres:
The Exam centres for each state have been grouped into Nearby.
Candidates should select a Nearby area within their state where they intend to sit for the examination.
They will automatically be given a centre within the selected area after uploading their registration details online.

Candidates should note that Nigerian Languages include Literature components.
How to Apply for NECO GCE External Form
The registration days begins on 17th August 2022 and ends on 14th November 2022.
The NECO SSCE External Registration fee is Just N17,800 Only.
With an Additional Stamp Duty of N50.
All payments should be directed into the NECO Treasury Single Account (TSA) SSCE (E) NECO portal.
Blind candidates are to register like others.
But they are to indicate the nature of their disability when making entry of their bio-data in the offline application during the process of registration.
Late registration will attract payment of ADDITIONAL N1k only.
